Carrie Lee Williams

Ms. Carrie Lee Williams, 65, daughter of the late Walter and Mamie Williams, was born July 13, 1952 in Lexington County, South Carolina.  She departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Carrie Lee was educated at Twin City High School and Batesburg-Leesville High School, both in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina.  She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.  In her early years, she was a member of the choir and a member of the Floral Club as of late.

Carrie L:ee was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen “Bunchie” Williams and by her son, Anthony “Tootie” Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  one son – Eric Williams of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; three daughters – Chasity “Wanda” (Emanuel) Stephens of Lacey, Washington, Mamie Williams and Lyric Jackson, both of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; three brothers – Arthur Williams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, James Williams and Walter Williams, both of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; two sisters – Linda P. Clark of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and Thomasena (Sammie)  Denny of New Haven, Connecticut; six grandsons, six granddaughters, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend, Mr. David Foulks.
