Mr. David Foulks was born April 8, 1949 in Lexington County. He departed this earthly life on December 11, 2018. He was the son of the late John Foulks and Thelma Williams Harris Foulks, both preceding him in death.
David attended Twin City High School and received training through Job Corp in his early years. He was a construction worker until his health began to fail. He always loved to fellowship with family and friends. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church where he joined at an early age.
David was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Foulks.
David leaves to cherish his loving memories: seven children – Fanando (Marilyn) Smith, Rico (Andrea) Smith, David D. Smith, all of Aiken, South Carolina, Adean Foulks of West Columbia, South Carolina, Mamie Williams, Lyric Jackson and Eric Williams, all of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; one brother – Wilbur (Lillie Mae) Harris of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; two sisters – Joan Foulks of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and Dorothy Harris Goodwin of Columbia, South Carolina; twenty-eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends and neighbors who will miss him dearly.
