Frankie Landy

Mr. Frankie Landy, 63, son of Mary A. Landy and the late Powell Landy, Sr., was born October 14, 1954 in Aiken County, South Carolina.  He departed this earthly life at home on Monday, May 14, 2018 following a brief illness.

Frankie was educated in the public schools of Aiken County, graduating from Ridge Spring-Monetta High School.  At an early age, he joined Chinquapin Baptist Church, Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina.  He was employed by Golden State Foods for over 25 years. 

Frankie was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Michael Landy and Powell Landy, Jr.

Those left to cherish his precious memories include:  his loving mother – Mary A. Landy of the home; one son – Tremayne (Shairese) Jerry of Midway, Georgia; four grandchildren – ShaQuana Jerry and Kadeisha Jerry, both of Johnston, South Carolina and Parker Jerry and Paris Jerry, both of Midway, Georgia; one sister – Sarah F. Griffin of Aiken County, South Carolina; one brother – Keith (Barbara) Landy of Aiken County, South Carolina; two aunts – Gertrude Gantt of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and Minnie Meachem of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one uncle – Ned West, Jr. of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law – Janice P. Landy of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and Elma Landy of Monetta, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.
