James Tyrone Chatman

Born October 28, 1977, James Tyrone Chatman was called home to the Lord, after a battle with his health on Friday, June 29, 2018, at home surrounded by the love of his life Ms. Rebecca Clark and other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James C. Cannon, Sr. and maternal grandmother, Mamie B. Chatman.

Tyrone attended Batesburg-Leesville High School Class of 1996; where he participated as a proud member of the Panther Football Team.  His job before he took ill was at the Palmetto State Armory Distribution Warehouse.

Those cherishing his memory today are his parents - James L. (Janice) Cannon and Charles Ann Chatman; (4) children - Ayanna Etheredge, Jordan Joseph, Jaeviaon and Xiomaria Chatman; (2) grands - Kiyah Etheredge and Alaina Garcia; (3) sisters - Dione “DeDe” (Kenneth) Butler, Takier Wiggins and Tameka (Jermain) Caldwell; one brother - DeCarlos Chatman; maternal grandmother - Sarah M. Cannon; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many more sorrowing family and friends.
