Mrs. Charles Ann Cannon Ruth, 46, daughter of the late Charles and Annetta Cannon, was born June 25, 1972 at Mills Clinic, Prosperity, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. She was married to Mr. Tony Ruth.
Mrs. Ruth joined Tabernacle Baptist Church, Batesburg-Leesville and was a watchover at Olive Branch Baptist Church, Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by one sister, Deloris I. Cannon.
Those left to cherish her precious memories include: her husband – Tony Ruth of the home; one son – Da’Kari Ruth of the home; two daughters – Jaeda Ruth and Nassaji Morris Coleman, both of the home; two stepchildren – Shareef Ruth and Janisha Ruth; four sisters – Rayshell Coleman, Romanda Cannon, Beverly Tyler and Genevieve Morris; one God-sister – Aaliyah Cook; one God-brother – Quin’Tell Golson; six aunts – Geraldine M. Staley of Johnston, South Carolina, Shirley Cannon of Lexington, South Carolina, Mary Cannon and Cynthia Cannon, both of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, Irene (Blane) Tyler of Wagener, South Carolina and Rodenia (Simon) Brown of High Point, North Carolina; three uncles – Elder Joseph (Viola) Morris of Columbia, South Carolina, Freddie Morris of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and Bobby Cannon of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; four brothers-in-law – James E. Smith of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, James R. Smith of Lexington, South Carolina, Roderick Smith of Irmo, South Carolina and Teddy Ruth of New York; four sisters-in-law – Rosemary Smith of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, Betty (Steve) Cannon and Ronnica Smith, both of Gilbert, South Carolina and Monica Ruth of New York; her best friends – Michelle Garvin, Joyce Harris and Dietrich Adams; God-children – D’Brazja Cannon, De’Ajah Cannon, Amanda Cannon, Qua’Sean Tyler, Ja’Nyah Hooper, Grayson Harris, Ke’Air Tyler and Da’Quain Ray; special close friends of the family – Curtis Holloway and Victor Foster; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.
