Denny Kinard Obituary
Mr. Denny Lee Kinard, 70, son of the late Lester Ray Kinard and the late Lila Kinard, was born October 4, 1948 in Saluda County, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Pruitt Health Center in Aiken, South Carolina. He was married to the late Betty Price Kinard.
Mr. Kinard was educated in the public schools of Lexington County, South Carolina, graduating from Twin City High School, Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. After high school, he attended Aiken Technical College.
Mr. Kinard served two years in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971. He was honorably discharged. He then served in the US Army National Guard for 20 years before retiring. He was also employed by Savannah River Site, retiring in 2000.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife and his twin sister, Vera Irving.
Mr. Kinard leaves to cherish his precious memories: three sons – Denny (Sharon) Kinard, Jr., Reginald (Charity) Kinard and LaMarco (Michael) Kinard-Baker; one daughter – Shavonta D. Kinard; two sisters – Castine (Bernard) Watson and Louphenia (Patrick) Marks; one brother – Ray (Shirley) Kinard; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.
