Elisha Jones

Our dear son, brother, cousin and friend, Elisha Jones peacefully transitioned from the physical world to eternity on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 at his home in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina after a hard-fought battle with cancer. 

Elisha was born in Lexington County, South Carolina to Raheim Jones and Yolanda Simpkins Williamson on June 9, 2002.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Doris Simpkins. 

Elisha was homeschooled by his loving mother for most of his life and also briefly attended the Ridge Christian School in Batesburg-Leesville.  He became a born-again Christian at a young age and was a member of several churches throughout his life including Gethsemane Anabaptist Church and Mt. Zion Baptist Church. 

Elisha was an incredibly talented artist and an avid fan of video games, Star Wars, and comic book superheroes.

He is survived by:  his parents – Raheim (Tanya) Jones and Yolanda (Calvin) Williamson; his brothers – Darius Jones, Jaquin Derrick, Micah Jones, Gabriel Jones, Jakolbie Johnson and Jacob Jones; grandparents – Willie Simpkins and Dorothy Jones and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
