Frederic Earl Laurie

Frederic Earl Laurie, 75 of Lexington, South Carolina passed away peacefully on October 25th, 2021.  He was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on July 3rd, 1946, son of the late Earl Frederic Laurie and Helen Laurie (McNally)

Fred spent most of his life in Rhode Island and in 2004, relocated to South Carolina where he fully embraced the southern way of life.  In 2011, Fred retired from Michelin and spent most of his time outdoors.  He loved kayaking, fishing, writing, playing with his cherished dogs and spending time with his wife, Carol.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Carol A. Laurie (Gardner); his sons, Earl F. Laurie and Allan J. Laurie; step-son, William Gardner; ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as his extended family and friends.  We will miss him more than words can say.
