Jimmy Lee Weaver, son of the late David Corley and Evangeline Weaver, was born November 19, 1956 in Edgefield County, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 2, 2021 at his home in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina.
Jimmy was educated in the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina. He attended Tabernacle Baptist Church, Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. He was employed by Columbia Farms for over 20 years until his health began to fail him.
Jimmy was preceded in death by both of his parents and one sister, Jacqueline Herrin.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife – Katie Lee Weaver of the home; three daughters – Laticka Shenell Weaver-Smith of Columbia, South Carolina; Coneshia Felder and Omelia (Bobby) Whitt, both of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; four sons – Jimmy O’Neil Weaver of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, Michael Ferguson of Columbia, South Carolina, Brandon (Jasmine) Weaver of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Frenshawn Williams; one sister – Avanetta Wigfall; one aunt – Annie Everette of Brooklyn, New York; mother-in-law – Helen (Carl Ray) Johnson of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; one nephew – Lamont Herrin; two brothers-in-law – Grady (Barbara) Harp of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and James Harold (Brenda) Harp of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren – K.J., Neicy, Dijionic, Kera, Cicory, J.J., Aubrey, Addyson, Kentrial, Skylar, Myka, Oktober, Zatiyia, Kimora, Gabriel, Brittney, Ariama, Tashay, Natasha, Jimmy, Trevone, Titus and Tejunay; one great-grandchild – Ava; two close cousins who were raised as his sisters – Judy and Deborah; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
