Louis Williams

Louis Williams was born to the late Ozie Williams on September 20, 1952 in Lexington, South Carolina.

Louis departed this earthly life and gained his wings on Thursday, October 26, 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Louis was loved by many family and friends.

Louis was educated in the Twin City School System.  He graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School in 1972.  He joined the U.S. Army after high school.  Louis transferred into the National Guard where he served over 20 years before retiring.  Louis was also employed at J.B. Martin and Amick Farms.

Louis was preceded in death by his mother, Ozie Lee Williams; a brother, Leroy Williams, Sr.; an aunt, Erline Williams; two close cousins, Richard Williams and Johnny Rowe.

Louis leaves to cherish his precious memories:  a nephew, Leroy (Wendy) Williams of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; a niece, Alice Jones of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; great-nephews, Akeem Jones, Davonté Jones, Desmond Williams, LaTrell Williams, JaMarcus Williams and DaMarcus Williams, all of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and a host of family and friends to cherish his memories.
