Mary Ann Milhouse was born February 19, 1951 to the late Reverend Joseph and Josephine Milhouse in Aiken County, South Carolina. After a brief illness, God sent an angel to escort her to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, South Carolina.
Mary was educated in the public schools of Aiken County and attended A.L. Corbett High School, Wagener, South Carolina. Later, she attended adult education classes and received her diploma. Mary joined the Hayden Missionary Baptist Church in Aiken, South Carolina at an early age where she was a member of the choir. Later, she joined Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina where she remained a member.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Milhouse and one grandson, Kentavis Milhouse.
Those left to cherish her precious memories and celebrate her life include: three loving sons – Christopher (Kiante) Milhouse and Jermaine (Audrey) Milhouse, both of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and Byron (Andrea) Milhouse of Farmville, Virginia; one loving daughter – Natasha Milhouse of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; one brother – Johnnie (Mary Jane) Milhouse of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; three sisters – Barbara (Bobby) Butler of Black River, New York, Clayvene Horton of Columbia, South Carolina and Deloris (Lowman) Stroman of Aiken, South Carolina; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.
