Shannon Trovotust Etheredge was born on June 15, 1978 in Lexington County to Ms. Nettie Marie Etheredge and Michael Gantt. He was called into eternal rest on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Shannon E., as he was affectionately called, attended the public schools of Lexington County in Batesburg-Leesville. While in high school, he was an all-around athlete participating in basketball, track and field, but was most known for his outstanding football skills.
Shannon enjoyed spending time with family, cooking out on the grill and working on cars. He was also known for his impeccable work ethic which provided for his loving family.
In 2000, Shannon met and later married the love of his life LaQuinda SellersEtheredge, and from this union, three beautiful children were born: Michael, Shania, and Samari.
Shannon is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Beacie Langford; uncle, Carlos Langford; and aunt, Alfreda Harris.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving and devoted wife, LaQuinda Sellers-Etheredge, his three amazing children, Michael, Shania, and Samari Etheredge all of the home; his parents, Ms. Nettie Marie Etheredge of Columbia, SC and Mr. Michael (Annie Pearl) Gantt of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; father-in-law, Willie Void of Santee, SC; grandmother, Amy (Cornell) Tolliver of Batesburg, SC; two loving sisters, KiSherri (Curtis Sr.) Brown of Yu lee, FL, and Michele Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law, Trekista (Shaundra) Sellers of Columbia, SC; one sister-in-law, lyonda Sellers of Vance, SC; four aunts, Valerie Langford of Homestead, FL; Wanda Etheredge of Charleston, SC; Judy Kay Broadnax of Garfield, NJ and Teresa Harris of Batesburg, SC; four uncles, Marvin "Dell" (Angela) Broadnax of Leesville, SC; Thomas Harris Jr. of Mississippi; Gregory Harris of Aiken, SC; and Adrian Staley of West Columbia, SC; seven Great-Aunts, Janie Lou Carter of Orangeburg, SC; JoAnn Folks of Leesville, SC; Ethel Etheredge of Batesburg, SC; Dorthy Goodwin of Irmo, SC, Lilly Mae Bryant of Leesville, SC, Christina (Nathaniel) Gartman of Irmo, SC and Doris Etheredge of West Palm Beach, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
