Sybil Juline Lorick

Mrs. Sybil Juline Lorick, 89, was born May 5, 1933.  She departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 19, 2023.  She was married to the late Sammie Lorick.

Mrs. Juline was educated in the public schools of Lexington County, graduating from Swansea High School, Class of 1950.  She enjoyed studying the bible with the Jehovah’s Witnesses for about 3 years.

Mrs. Juline loved all of her family and friends.  She enjoyed cooking, baking pound cakes, fishing, boat riding, doing puzzle books and spending time with her dogs.

Mrs. Juline leaves to cherish her memory:  her special caregiver – Keith Jerry who was more like a son and lived in the home with her for 13 years but had been with her for 15 years; her 135 Chinquapin Street Family; a sister-in-law – Mary Lucas of Pelion, South Carolina; her special friends – Sandra Dubose and Gale Moore, both of Augusta, Georgia; Mary Hill and Sheryl Harris, both of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; a special nephew – Glen (Susan) Hall of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; three special nieces – Martha Joe Hartley of Lexington, South Carolina, Loretta Lucas of Pelion, South Carolina and Jackie Leaphart of Gilbert, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many sorrowing friends.
