Obituary

Therone Shentall Bowers was born in Lexington, South Carolina on December 19, 1986. On Monday, April 5, 2021, he entered into eternal rest.

He was a 2005 graduate of Gilbert High School where he was well liked and respected by faculty, staff and fellow students.  At an early age he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and joined the St. Mark Baptist Church.  He was employed by Southeast Trucking.

Therone was always full of positivity and love.  You could expect to find him Polo-down from head to toe, he had a classy, confident style that was unforgettable.  Therone was athletic and energetic he loved to play basketball.  He played point guard throughout his junior high and high school years.  He also loved to cheer on his favorite football team, the New England Patriots.

He had an infectious smile that always lit up a room, he loved to laugh and dance.  Just seeing him on the dance floor gave life to everyone.  His family could never get enough of watching dance-offs with his Uncle Thayer and his cousins.  He loved his mother dearly and treated her like a queen.  His love for his children shined just as brightly as his smile, spending quality time with and providing for them was his passion.  He was a devoted father.

Therone was truly a generous soul.  He was always looking to lend a helping hand.  If you ever needed him, he was always there.  His giving heart, love for his family, and joyful spirit will forever be cherished and missed by the countless people whose lives he touched.
