R.O. Levy is president of the Batesburg-Leesville Branch of the NAACP, a life member and presently serving as an at-large member of the South Carolina Conference of Branches of NAACP Executive Committee.

Shirley Williams Barr is a lifelong resident of Batesburg-Leesville, SC. She is married to Deacon Jesse Barr and they have three daughters: Jessica Barr-Dennis, Angela Barr-Williams, and Jacqueline Barr; two sons-in-law: Dana and Travis. She has seven grandchildren: Darius, Dyani, Dana, Jaewan, Jamiyah, Jahmad and Journee'. She is a 1968 graduate of Twin City High and she retired from Anslado STS after 35 years of service. She is a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Batesburg-Leesville, SC where she serves as the President of the Deaconess Ministry, the Newsletter Staff and a member of Hospitality Committee. She is active in her community where she serves as a member of the Zoning Committee for the town of Batesburg-Leesville and she is a former member of the Lexington District Three school board. She joined the staff of R. O. Levy Home for Funerals in the year of 1998.
She enjoys working with people. Her motto is to treat people as you would like to be treated.

Minister Lacey Thompson is the wife of Deacon Jimmy Thompson and the mother of Bradley, Mertyse and JT. She has served in the United States Army and the United States Naval Reserve. She is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University with a degree in Business Management and a graduate of Remington College with a diploma in Medical Assistance. She was licensed and ordained by the Church of Living Waters and a Seminary student of Overcoming Outreach Ministry of Columbia, South Carolina.

Lacey has ministered in the areas of Prison Ministry, Women’s Ministry and
Church Evangelism. She is a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist church under
the leadership of Reverend Dr. Amos O Harling Jr. Minister Lacey’s heart
desire is to see souls saved and people living for the Lord. One of her
life’s scripture is John 4:24, God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must
worship Him in spirit and in truth.
